October means Oktoberfest! This fall, get ready to get into the festive mood of one of Bavaria's oldest traditions to celebrate beer. Feathered hats, shorts with straps, delicious sausages with sauerkraut and Tyrolean music will be on the program!
The race offers distances of 1K, 5K, 10K, and 21.1K.

The event is taking place at Parc Michel-Chartrand: 1895 Adoncour Street, Longueuil, QC J4J 5G8.
SCHEDULE
07:00 a.m.: Site opening
07:45 a.m.: Yoga session with Idolem
08:30 a.m.: 21.1 km
9:00 a.m.: 10 km Run (Quebec 10 km Championship)
9:02 a.m.: 10 km Walk
10:20 a.m.: Medal ceremony for the 10 km Quebec Championships (general classification and by age categories).
10:45 a.m.: 5 km Run
10:47 a.m.: 5 km Walk
11:10 a.m.: Medal ceremony 10 km Walk and 21.1 km
11:45 a.m.: 1 km
12:00 p.m.: Medal ceremony 1 km, 5 km Run, 5 km Walk.

REGISTRATION THE DAY OF THE EVENT OR DURING THE RACE KIT PICK-UP
You can register in advance if you come pick up your race kit at Boutique Courir in Longueuil, or you can do it the day of the event. You will find more information about location and schedules below. Please note that registration fee is payable by check or in cash only.
RACE KIT PICK-UP
Friday October 18 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday October 19 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday October 20 from 6:30 a.m.

PICKING SOMEONE ELSE'S RACE KIT
To pick up a race kit for a colleague, a friend or a family member, you have to show his or her proof of registration.
CHANGE YOUR DISTANCE
You must ask to change your bib when you go get your race kit on the Friday or Saturday at the store. You could also do it up to 30 minutes before your race’s departure at the Registration Area. If you wish run a longer distance, for instance going from 5K to 10K, make sure you bring money or check to pay for the difference. If you want to run a shorter distance, you will not be refunded.
TRANSFERRING YOUR ENTRY BIB
You must ask to transfer your bib when you go get your race kit on the Friday or Saturday at the store. You could also do it up to 30 minutes before your race’s departure at the Registration Area. To complete a transfer, we need the full name, city of residence and birthdate of the person you are transferring it to. In addition, we need the consent of the person who is transferring his/her entry, via e-mail or signed letter.
PARKING
More than 1500 parking spaces are available at the Colisée Jean-Béliveau: 1755 Jacques-Cartier E Blvd, Longueuil, QC J4N 1A1.
There is a ten-minute walk to get to the site and the departure area, ideal to warm up before your race! We highly recommend you arrive at least one hour before your race’s departure time.
BAGGAGE CHECK
There will be a safe location inside the Parc Michel-Chartrand’s Visitor’s Center where you could leave your personal belongings.
TIMEKEEPING
Each race will be timed electronically. This service will be provided by SportStats. Walkers are welcome in distances from 1K to 10K.
OFFICIAL RACE SHIRT
A shirt will be given to every participant of the 5K and more, except for people who have declined the shirt or have selected the Express Formula.
WATER STATIONS
There will be water stations approximately every 3k and at the start and finish lines.water as well as BRIX containing electrolytes will be served. The electrolytes will allow you to stay hydrated and diminish the risks of muscular cramps and fatigue.
TOILETS
There will be toilets along the side of Adoncour Street, on the main site. There will also be a toilet on the course.
WEARING HEADPHONES
Although it is not recommended, you are allowed to run with headphones. However, you must run on your right-hand side as much as possible in order to enable rescue team and cyclists to move along freely.
AFTER THE RACE
PARTICIPANTS' MEAL
A delicious full meal will be offered to every runner.
Please note that you must have your bib in order to receive your meal.
RESULTS
Results will be available online at www.sportstats.ca in real time and will also be posted on-site the day of the event.
WALKERS
Walkers are welcome to our event for the 5k and 8k courses. There will be a distinct medal ceremony for the first three men and women of this category.
AQ SANCTIONED
The Demi-Marathon Sun Life de Longueuil, like all Courses Thématiques, is sanctioned by the Athlétisme Québec, in addition to ensuring that the courses are accurate and measured properly.
PARTICIPATION MEDALS
Each finisher will receive a medal.
MEDAL, PRIZES AND AWARD CEREMONY
After each race, there will be an Award Ceremony at the podium. Distinct medals and prizes will be given to the first three men and women of every race. The prizes must be collected the day of the event. Forgotten prizes will not be sent by mail.

Distinct medals will be offered to the 3 fastest men and women of each age group.
