Inscriptions
If distances are not sold out, on-site registration is available up to one hour before the start. Card payments are accepted.
For online transfers, you may request a distance change through your Race Roster account up to 21 days before the event. A $6.95 fee applies for switching to a shorter distance. To change to a longer distance, you’ll pay the price difference plus the $6.95 fee.
If you are within 21 days of the event, changes can only be made in person when picking up your bib. The same $6.95 fee applies for a shorter distance, and for a longer distance, you’ll pay the price difference and the fee. For transfers, we require the new participant’s name, city, and date of birth, as well as the donor’s consent (by email or signed letter) and proof of identity for both parties.
We do not issue refunds. However, we accept bib transfers and distance changes up to 1 hour before the start of the races. A $6.95 fee applies.
Cancellation insurance is available when you register online on Race Roster*. You must select the option when you register to be eligible for this program.

You have up to 30 days after the event to submit your request.
The organization allows participants to change their race distance—for example, from 21.1 km to 10 km—provided the request is made before the deadline and the desired event has not reached its maximum capacity.
A $6.95 administration fee applies to all distance change requests. If you are upgrading to a longer distance, you’ll need to pay the price difference based on the current event prices (including any promotional codes used). If you switch to a shorter distance, no refund will be issued, and the $6.95 administration fee will still apply.
Yes, participants of all ages can register for the 1 km race. Everyone will receive a participation medal and a meal. *Please note that only children aged 12 and under are eligible for the podium medal ceremony.
*For the NDL race, participants aged 12 and over cannot register for the 1 km race.

Adults who only wish to accompany their children may run for free, but will not receive a participation medal or a meal.
At the start of the race, accompanying adults must position themselves at the back of the group.

In partnership with Carte Accompagnement Loisir (CAL), registration is free for accompanying persons. For more information, please email us at info@coursesthematiques.com. Simply provide proof, such as a photo of the CAL card, and we will send you a promo code.
Participants registered for the walking event must walk exclusively and may not alternate between walking and running. If you prefer to alternate, please register for the running event instead.
We follow Athlétisme Québec guidelines for minimum age requirements by distance. Please refer to the event page for the recommended minimum ages.
Race kit pickup
Generally, you can collect your race kit on the Friday and Saturday before the race, as well as on the morning of the event at the registration area. Specific details are available on each event page and in the participant guide.
Please note that bibs will only be distributed during the specified pickup hours.
You’ll need your bib number, which will be emailed to you 1–2 weeks before the event. Proof of registration or photo ID may also be requested.
Your bib number will be emailed to you 1–2 weeks before the event. If you can’t find the email, you can also find your bib number in your Race Roster profile.
Yes, you can pick up someone else’s race kit. Please complete the authorization form qhich must include their signature and race number.

Aid stations are located every 3 to 4 km and offer water and BRIX electrolyte drinks.
To prevent congestion at the start and maintain a smooth flow on the course, each runner should select their starting corral based on their pace. Each corral corresponds to a starting wave. Find the pacers and position yourself in the group that best matches your pace.
Restrooms are available along the routes. You can find their locations on the route maps provided on the event pages or in the participant guide.
Event day
Our races are held rain or shine, except in cases of extreme weather that could compromise participant safety.
Finding parking, picking up your race kit, dropping off your bag, and waiting for the restroom—there’s a lot to do before your race! To avoid stress, arrive at least one hour before your start time.
All our races are held in urban areas, making them easily accessible by public transportation and car. Detailed information about parking and other facilities can be found on each event page and in the participant guide.
For distances of 10 km or less, there is no minimum pace requirement. However, for distances of 15 km or more, a minimum pace must be maintained for safety reasons. Please refer to each event page and the participant guide for specific minimum pace details.
Yes, strollers are welcome; however, for safety reasons, you must start at the back of the pack.
Yes, walkers are welcome in our races. Race walking is recognized as a separate discipline, with a dedicated podium ceremony for walkers. We ask that participants registered as walkers refrain from interval training and do not alternate between running and walking during the race.
Yes, individuals with disabilities are welcome to participate in our races. If a participant requires an accompanying person due to their disability, that companion may run free of charge. We ask wheelchair participants to start at the back of the pack for safety reasons.
The CAL card allows people with disabilities to receive free admission for their companion at participating tourist, cultural, and leisure venues. Please note that CAL holders are still responsible for their own registration fees.
We have pace rabbits for most of our races. Please check the event page for available pace times. If you’re interested in becoming a pace rabbit, email us at info@coursesthematiques.com.
No, runners who receive personal pacing assistance will be disqualified. Each of our races features official pacers who are available to support all participants.
Yes, runners can qualify for the Boston Marathon or the New York City Marathon at both Marathon de Longueuil Sun Life and Marathon Sun Life de Granby. Our flat, fast courses are ideally suited for achieving qualifying times.
Headphones are permitted at our events, but we do not recommend their use for safety reasons.
We only accept service dogs.
We offer an on-site bag drop area where you can label your belongings with your bib number. While the bag drop is supervised, we recommend that you do not leave valuables, as we cannot be responsible for any loss or theft.
Yes, for $15 plus tax, available at the registration tent.
After the race
Results are available in real time on the website : www.sportstats.ca.
Podium medals are awarded to the top three men and women in each event during the medal ceremony. Prizes not claimed at the ceremony will not be distributed later. Additionally, separate medals are given to the top three finishers in each age category (men and women), except in the walking category. These can be collected at the “age category medals” tent. Please note that all medals must be claimed on site, as they will not be mailed.
Our official timing provider is Sportstats. If you experienced a timing issue, please email https://sportstats.one/fr/help/contact, including your full name, race distance, event name, and your approximate finish time. Please note that Sportstats routinely processes corrections in the days following each event.
